For video projects, the hourly fee is $15, plus additional charges based on the individual requirements of a particular project. Here's the basic breakdown:

Length of Final Product: a project of ten minutes in length incurs an additional labor fee of $15, and it's $5 per minute after that (so a 15-minute presentation would bring an additional $40 labor charge). "Fixing" pictures comes at no extra charge.

. If video transfer is required, say froma VHS or a DVD of a certain event, the fee per minute of footage is $10.
Personal Appearance: If you need me to be somewhere to help cover an event, driving time and the amount of time I'm present factor into the final total as well. A fee of $25/hr is added on to the final price of your project.

Effects Budget: Large alterations to pictures you supply incurs additional charges. The simpler things such as altering the color of a person's hair or eyes brings $15 per image, and larger alterations (such as replacing the existing background with something else) costs $35 per image.

Announcing

For voiceovers, the charge is $60 per line. I have been known to do everything in this regard, from game show announces to documentary voiceovers. If you have something you'd like done, e-mail me with the details.

Virtual Sets

Virtual sets are by far the most difficult of all. The charge for this is $100/hr, plus a $25 labor fee for each final rendered image (1024x768 resolution, maximum detail). Additional charges may apply, based on the individual requirements of a particular project.

Level of Detail: If you want something to just see how the interior of a living room would look, that's one thing; but to be able to count the grooves on the column on the other end of a room is another. Scenes or sets requiring this level of detail bring an extra $25 labor fee.

Amount of Material: If what you want is a fairly simple set model, then there's no extra charge. However, if you want every detail of something reproduced, additional charges may apply. A good example would be the work I've done with the set from The Price is Right; for something with that level of detail, an additional labor fee of $50 would apply. My work on the set from Family Feud would incur a similar charge of $25 (halved because that studio model does not include an audience area).
